Workshops 2025
Come and learn from the masters of Irish music!
Typically, the teacher will choose a tune that is unfamiliar to any of the participants, and it will be learned by ear, with special consideration and ornaments of the instrument in question. The workshop is more often a relaxed discussion than a lecture, and is therefore a great place to ask questions and get tips on the intricacies of your own instrument.
All courses will be held on Saturday 17.5., at Saukkola (instrument and song workshops), Uulu Cultural Centre (children’s workshops), and Tampere Stadium (dance). Courses will take place if the minimum number of participants is reached, the courses that will take place will be confirmed on 5.5.
